Hi, I'm Phoebe R, the artist behind every portrait at Phoebe's Pet Portraits. What started as a passion for capturing the personality of pets has grown into a small studio dedicated to creating heirloom-quality keepsakes for pet lovers in Hong Kong, the UK, and beyond.
In 2020 I started painting pet portraits to raise money for Hong Kong rescues. I have exhibited at VetiVa in K11 Atelier, painted live portraits at adoption days and even had exhibitions in pet-friendly art galleries. I still donate a portion of every sale and have painted nearly 200 pet portraits to date!
Why mini pet portraits?
Created to be reminiscent of the small photo of your loved one you might have kept in your purse back in the day. Also, the mini size is just cute!
The process
- Order your portrait — choose your size (5x5cm, 5x7cm, or 15x20cm), colour and complete your purchase.
- Submit your photo — you'll receive instructions on how to send us your favourite photo of your pet after your order is confirmed.
- I get to work — your portrait is hand-painted by me, with my tiny paint brush and my own dog, Mishka at my feet. Once I've received your clear photo I aim to finish it within a week (up to 10 days during busy periods!) I'll send you a photo of the finished piece for your approval before varnishing and shipping.
- It arrives at your door — carefully packaged and ready to display or gift.
